Family Resource Centers
CFA’s Family Resource Centers provide access to a broad continuum of early childhood and family support services designed to foster children’s optimal development and education beginning at birth.
Services & Family Support:
- Home visiting & Parents as Teachers education
- Family resources & referrals (i.e., childcare programs)
- Early literacy for children and families
- Developmental screenings
- Positive youth development programs and activities
- Playgroups and community-based field trips
Eligibility & Fees
All families in New London County are eligible for services. There are no fees associated with Family Resource Center services.
No person shall be excluded from participation in, denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination in the Agency’s programs or activities on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or disability. Provision will be made to assist clients who are members of national origin minority groups with language differences. Additionally, provision will be made to assist clients who are hearing impaired or have other special needs.
