Child First

When young children grow up in environments where there is violence, neglect, mental illness, or substance abuse, the stress can be toxic to their developing brains. Child First is an early childhood intervention program involving parent-child treatment and designed to decrease serious emotional disturbance, developmental and learning problems, abuse, and neglect.

About This Program

Child First offers comprehensive assessment, parent-child treatment, early care and education support, and care coordination and case management. Child First will serve families with parental mental illness, substance abuse, incarceration, domestic violence, living in shelters, or undocumented status.

There are no fees associated with the participation in this program.
