Healthcare for Immigrants
You or your child may be eligible for State HUSKY A or HUSKY B health insurance, regardless of immigration status.
Your child may be eligible if they:
- are age 15 or under,
- are a non-citizen who doesn’t qualify for Medicaid or CHIP insurance due to immigration status,
- meet HUSKY A & B Income Guidelines, and
- aren’t insured and don’t have access to affordable insurance.
You may be eligible for prenatal & postpartum care if you:
- are pregnant,
- are a non-citizen or immigrant that does not qualify for Medicaid due to immigration status,
- meet HUSKY B Prenatal Income Guidelines, and
- aren’t insured and don’t have access to affordable insurance.
There is no age limit or age requirement for this program.

Call AccessHealth CT at 1‐855‐805‐4325* to get free assistance and the quickest decision about eligibility.

Under This Program:
- immigration verification documents are not required;
- enrolling will not affect applications to become a Permanent Resident or a U.S. citizen; and
- information is not reported to Immigration Services or the Department of Homeland Security.
