May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and this year it feels especially important to pause and reaffirm why this work matters so deeply.

Across the country, youth mental health challenges continue to rise. Anxiety, depression, and trauma are affecting young people earlier and more intensely as they grow up in a world shaped by uncertainty, social pressures, and constant change. For the youth and families we serve, these challenges are real every day.
