After being on a waiting list for counseling for more than a year and a half, my children were in dire need of help, and I had to get it for them without going to the emergency room. The intake [at Urgent Crisis Center] was pretty smooth. My children [and I] spoke to several different nurses and counselors. I felt like the rooms were cheerful and comfortable, and it did not feel intimidating… It went well, and I felt that I was getting some help. FINALLY!!!!

I am incredibly grateful for the help my family received at the Urgent Crisis Center, and I wish it had opened 10 years ago! I cannot say enough how blessed I feel to have been able to go, just walk in, tell them who I was, and what my issue was, and get help right away. I left there with a plan. That alone brought so much relief.”
