CFA provides behavioral and physical healthcare and childcare services across southeastern CT.
CFA operates three outpatient mental health clinics in New London, Groton, and Essex. We offer outpatient mental health services to children, families, caregivers, and adults through a wide variety of psychiatry and psychotherapy services.
CFA’s community-based and child welfare programs support families who are in significant distress, requiring a higher level of care than outpatient services can provide.
CFA operates 13 School-Based Health Centers (SBHC) which provide mental health care and supplement the health care received from a child’s primary care physician. All students who attend a school with a SBHC are eligible to receive medical and mental health care without having to miss valuable school time at no out-of-pocket cost.
CFA operates two early care and education centers, the New London Day Nursery and the Early Childhood Development Center.
CFA’s school-aged services provide a safe space to children, grades K-8, during after-school hours and summer vacation. We offer services and activities with the goal of promoting academic, physical, and emotional development.
Family Resource Centers (FRC) provide a broad continuum of services, including parent education, resources and referrals, early childhood and school-aged programming, and additional community supports to foster the optimal development of children and families.
