CFA March Book Pick Auction

The Monday, March 10th “pick” auction includes books on history (Civil War, WWII), fiction, medicine, biography, poetry and children’s literature. Special Note: If you have an interest in Vermont, we will have a large collection of books assembled by a Vermont farmer who spent nearly 80 years collecting history and other books about her beloved state. In addition, we will have a nice collection of OZ and other children’s books. 

Of Interest: Vaux (1817), Memoirs of the life of Anthony Benezet; Marsh (1864), Man and Nature; Astle (1784), The Origin and Progress of Writing; Sunderland (1837), Anti Slavery Manual; Hayward (1849), A Gazetteer of Vermont; Mourlot (1959) Art in Posters; Ruf (1932), Ruf Haight Eddy Sumner Hatch and Allied Families; Mariani (1890, Signed) Coca and Its Therapeutic Application; Sanders (1812), A History of the Indian Wars; Harrison (1870), Pickett’s Men; Lane (1868), The Soldiers’ Record of Jericho Vermont; Roosevelt (1899), The Rough Riders; Pike (1788), A New and Complete System of Arithmetic; Gilman (1897), The Bibliography of Vermont; The 1914 first edition of the Boy Scouts of America Handbook; Two Vermont account ledgers; Vermont Town Histories; The Record of the Disposition of Mrs. Betsey E. Chittenden’s Property During her Natural Life by her own hand 1864 – 1873; and Haskell (1908), The Battle of Gettysburg signed twice by General O. O. Howard who  fought at Gettysburg.
