Charity Bookshop Spring Sale

Charity Bookshop Spring Sale

Dear Friends,

Spring is in the air and I hope that you enjoyed this weekend’s delightful weather. I can’t wait to start the hollyhock seeds that I bought on Saturday! Spring marks the beginning of book fair season. Charity Bookshop will soon be competing with numerous local book fairs for donations of clean, gently used books.

Please keep us in mind as you finish spring cleaning and find books that you don’t plan to read again. Charity Bookshop welcomes your donations and depends on them to keep our shop well stocked with quality used books all year long. (However, we cannot accept textbooks, encyclopedias and Reader’s Digest books.)
All
receipts from the sale of books, CD’s, DVD’s and other items go directly to Child and Family Agency of Southeastern Connecticut.

If you know anyone who is moving or downsizing, please tell them about us. For anyone with a large collection, I can contact someone who may be able to assist them. Please feel free to forward this email to your friends.

Our Spring Sale will run from March 2 to about April 2. All books and other items with red dot labels will be marked at half-price during this time. Please note that we will be closed on March 27, the day before Easter.

Thank you to our many customers, our generous donors and our bookshop volunteers. You make it possible for us to support the many services and programs of Child and Family Agency year round and, at the same time, allow us to provide a steady supply of great books to local readers.

Sincerely,

Ginny McCormack
