School Based Services

Students enrolled in our SBHC’s can obtain services such as physicals, minor acute illness care, health promotion and disease prevention education, as well as group, individual and/or family therapy.

These centers are licensed by DPH as Outpatient Clinics and are staffed by Certified Nurse Practitioners and Masters-prepared Mental Health Clinicians.

School Based Health Centers

Your school based health center (SBHC) is one in a program of Child & Family Agency of Southeastern CT, that operates 13 health centers in New London, Groton, Stonington, and Waterford.  Our 13 school-based health centers (SBHC) are part of a network of more than seventy similar facilities across Connecticut.


CT Strong

CT STRONG is a program that will utilize innovative outcomes with regard to housing stability, physical health and mental health, education and employment for individuals aged 16-25.

Our four Family Resource Centers offer families numerous services to bridge the gap between the early childhood years and the elementary school years.
