The Groton Early Childhood Development Center

The purpose of The Early Childhood Development Center is to provide a high quality, easily accessible, affordable, early childhood program.

Our NAEYC accredited early childhood program serves 48 children daily. We encourage parental involvement and provide a developmentally appropriate and nurturing environment for children.

Fees for Child Care Services are on a sliding scale basis.

Some of our partnerships include; State Department of Education, Groton School Readiness, Catherine Kolanski Family Resource Center, School Based Health Centers, and Child Guidance Clinic.

Parents must be either enrolled in school, working or searching for employment. Children are eligible from 6 weeks to age five.

Our Goal

We strive to create and develop successful partnerships, by combining the parent’s knowledge of their children’s development with that of the early care and education professionals. This collaboration promotes a positive experience for the children and families we serve.

Infant/Toddler Program

We provide enriched individualized attention to infants and toddlers promoting their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
